HURRICANE Announcement:

After Robert Sarzo's departure from Hurricane, we are excited to have Carlos Cavazo join Hurricane as our lead guitarist. We are scheduled to play at FireFest 2024, Manchester, UK in October next year and we are currently planning other festivals and shows for 2024. Our set lists will consist of songs from Hurricane, Snow and Quiet Riot.

Robert is a band brother whom we created a great album with. We wish Robert all the best with his future endeavors.

History

Hurricane is an American heavy metal band formed in 1983, originally featuring current Foreigner lead vocalist Kelly Hansen (vocals/rhythm guitar), Robert Sarzo (lead guitar), Tony Cavazo (bass), and Jay Schellen (drums).

Quiet Riot's Kevin DuBrow introduced Sarzo and Cavazo in the early 1980s and after deciding to form a band, they recruited Hansen and Schellen.

Sarzo and Cavazo reunited in 2010 to reform the band with drummer Mike Hansen. In 2021 they recruited Dan Schumann on lead vocals and the band began working on a new album soon after.

The Band's discography includes: Take What You Want (1985), Over The Edge (1988), Slave To The Thrill (1990), Luiqifury (2001)

and RECONNECTED (2023).

After Robert Sarzo's departure shortly following the release of their album "RECONNECTED", the band approached Carlos Cavazo (Quiet Riot/RATT) to take over on Lead Guitar. The current Line-up now consists of Tony Cavazo (Bass), Mike Hansen (Drums), Dan Schumann (Lead Vocals) and features Carlos Cavazo on Guitar. The band are currently preparing to do a number of shows and festivals throughout the world in 2024.
